Overall, the BrainAlert formula contains a high number of ingredients, so we do have to wonder if the sheer number of ingredients contained in this product will drown out any of its potential benefits. For example, we are fans of Folic Acid, which studies show may help decrease the risk of developing dementia or Alzheimer’s, but the benefits of this ingredient may be drowned out in this formula. Thus, we cannot help but think that a product that contains fewer, more concentrated ingredients would be far more advantageous in the end.
However, we do appreciate that this product contains all natural ingredients, and we do wish to note that there are several purported energy boosters in this formula, as well as ingredients said to be a rich source for antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Several of the ingredients in this product are linked to improvements in mental awareness and function, but none appear to have been conclusively shown to lead to these benefits.
We do want to note that poor circulation to the brain is often associated with memory loss, which is why consumers concerned about this issue tend to look for ingredients said to enhance cerebral blood flow. We suggest that consumers interested in such a function look for a product that contains the ingredient Vinpocetine, which has been shown in multiple clinical studies to enhance blood flow to the brain. At this time, BrainAlert does appear to contain this ingredient, but the dosage amount is not shared, and consumers may find that Vinpocetine is more effective in a formula with fewer ingredients.
