Summary |
These days many people spend a lot of time thinking about weight gain, bone health, cardio vascular health and keeping young. However, people often forget to think about their cognitive health until they start to notice that they are having some initial and minor issues remembering or learning. This may be scary, and it seems that many people think it is a normal part of getting older and that there is nothing they can do about it. However, that’s not true. The holistic market has made some great strides in creating products that may augment everything form short and long term memory to learning and reasoning.
Cho Wa is a relative new comer to the American market, and it is suggested to be able to help people increase everything from cardiovascular to cognitive health. This is a tea based product that is suggested to have been used, according to one source, by the descendants of the Tiger Shogun to stay young, which may lend it an air of mystery, but is it really as effective as indicated?

 | Ingredients At A Glance |
|
The formula for Cho Wa was not disclosed on its website, which is concerning, because it requires that consumers suspend their disbelief, reach into their pocket or wallet, pull out their credit card and make a purchase without knowing what they are really getting. This is something we never suggest doing, as we believe that it is vital to know exactly what extracts and elements are used in the cognitive enhancers you buy to ensure both effectiveness and safety.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
The fact that the formula used in Cho Wa is not disclosed is reprehensible, as it makes it impossible for consumers to ascertain whether or not it may be able to increase their cognitive health. This is an arena that takes a high level of expertise to address, which is why the elements used are so very important. For instance, if we see that a product contains B Vitamins, like Folic Acid, B6 and B12, we know that it has a potentiality for balancing homocysteine levels, which is important, because high levels of this element is connected to dementia.
Also, if a product contains Alpha GPC we can be fairly certain that it may increase Choline levels, which, according to research studies, may have a profound affect on short and long term memory. Finally, if it contains Phosphatidylserine we know that it may be able to help ensure that nerve impulses are conducted properly through the brain, and help neurotransmitters work properly thereby augmenting cognitive health. In fact, in 18 research studies Phosphatidylserine has shown some stellar results in augmenting cognitive function. Unfortunately, since the ingredients are not listed for Cho Wa, we have no idea if this tea based product contains any of these amazing ingredients.

 | Website |
|
The Cho Wa website does a really poor job of letting consumers know exactly what they are selling. We do know that it is a tea that is imbued with mythical abilities, but these abilities are not backed up by any verifiable information. As noted above, the formula used in this tea is not disclosed, nor is any research that supports the abilities of the extracts posted. We also have to point out that the site does not post testimonials by consumers who have used this product to increase brain health or overall health, and this only increases our frustration with this product.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
Cho Wa is one of those formulas people see on the holistic market from time to time that is imbued with magical abilities, which they are apparently supposed to believe without any verifiable proof. As noted several times above, we can never suggest buying products that do not fully disclose their formula, due to issues around effectiveness and safety. In fact, on consumer rating sites and blogs where Cho Wa has been heavily discussed, former users suggested that their peers save their money and buy products that have a proven track record of success in this arena, and which contain high performance cognitive enhancers, like Phosphatidylserine and Alpha GPC. And based on what we know about this product, we couldn’t agree more.
