The fact that Constant Focus contains Ginkgo Biloba may seem like a really great feature, but in recent research studies it has been shown to be far less effective than previously believed. In fact, in a study reported in the American Medical Association Journal, Ginkgo was ineffective in helping increase user’s memory or cognitive function. However, it does have a potential for augmenting circulation, which may help with sexual and cardiovascular health. It also contains a wide array of antioxidants that may help fend off free radicals. However, we should mention that it has many side effects that this developer and many others tend to not disclose, including faintness, heart palpitations, bleeding, nausea, diarrhea, headaches and agitation.
On the flip side, this formula does contain Vinpocetine and Phosphatidylserine, which may be great assets to any formula. Vinpocetine is a top of the line cognitive enhancer that may help individuals increase cerebral blood flow, so that oxygen and nutrients make speedy deliveries. Phosphatidylserine, on the other hand, may help neurotransmitters communicate more effectively in order to augment cognitive function. For example, in over 16 double blind studies that were conducted in the U.S. and Europe it was shown to dramatically increase cognitive function.

While Constant Focus does contain Vinpocetine and Phosphatidylserine, we were disappointed to see that it does not contain Alpha GPC, which is a super star cognitive enchanter. Alpha GPC has been shown to be able to increase the body’s production of Choline, which is vital for increasing short and long term memory. In fact, in research studies it was shown to be able to reverse memory damage as well, which is highly unusual. The fact that it is not used in this formula may reduce its overall effectiveness.

Constant Focus is a highly visible cognitive enhancer, and in some respects it is a good formula, due to the fact that it contains Vinpocetine and Phosphatidylserine. However, it is not a great formula because it lacks a mechanism to control homocysteine levels and one that increases Choline levels effectively. Both these mechanisms are needed to address cognitive function in the focused way it needs to be, in order to help people get the most out of their cognitive health. While this formula does not offer this approach, there are some products out there that do, and we suggest looking for certain key elements, like Alpha GPC, when shopping for these types of products to ensure you get your moneys worth.
