Review
Summary |
Focus Factor is an expensive dietary supplement advertised to support memory, concentration and focus. In fact, the product website for Focus Factor claims that this product is America’s #1 selling brain support supplement. This may make this product seem more enticing, but we wonder how this company can make such a claim, especially when we came across a number of consumer complaints for Focus Factor on various independent websites. We have found that it is very easy for manufacturers of supplements to make promises and claims to consumers, but it is much harder to develop a supplement that can effectively enhance cognitive function and live up to such promises, so we will take a closer look at Focus Factor and its contained ingredients to determine if this product can provide any of its advertised benefits.

 | Ingredients At A Glance |
|
The formula for Focus Factor is not clearly posted online for consumer review at this time. However, the product website does share some of the contained ingredients, which are said to include the following: DMAE, Bacopa, Huperzine, Vinopectine, DHA, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. The manufacturer does make a point to ensure consumers that this product is completely free of any Caffeine derivatives or any other stimulants.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
We are disappointed that the complete ingredient list for Focus Factor is not clearly posted online for consumer review. The company does not share what other ingredients this product contains or even how many more ingredients are included in the Focus Factor formula. We feel it’s important that consumers have access to such information, and we have noticed that products with high quality formulas are usually the ones that are the most forthright about what ingredients and herbal extracts are included in the supplement.
When it comes to improving mental alertness and other cognitive functions, one of the best ingredients on the market appears to be Alpha GC. This ingredient works because it has been shown to increase the body’s production of Choline, which supports the cells in the brain that are responsible for long term and short term memory. In addition, a number of clinical studies have shown that users of Alpha GC can benefit from improved mental reasoning, information processing, enhanced memory and general mental performance. Unfortunately, at the time of this review, it does not appear that Focus Factor contains Alpha GC.

 | Consumer Reviews |
|
As mentioned above, there are a high number of consumer complaints for this product posted on several independent websites. In fact, the Consumer Affairs website has even written an article about Focus Factor, which shares that this organization has received over 100 consumer complaints about this supplement. According to Consumer Affairs, many of these complaints are in regards to disputed charges where the consumers claim that the company either over charged or double charged their bank accounts. Such claims are quite serious, and we’re sure few consumers would like to purchase products from a company that reportedly rips off their own costumers.
We also want to note that a few years ago the FTC charged the makers of Focus Factor with making misleading and false claims about the abilities of this supplement. Due to these charges, the company had to pay a $1 million settlement.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
In the end, we are not confident that Focus Factor will benefit consumers as the company claims. Not only is the complete ingredient list for Focus Factor not posted online, but we also discovered that the company behind Focus Factor has been charged by the FTC for making false claims. In addition, the numerous negative reviews and complaints that this company steals from consumers, does not bode well for this product. Those consumers who are still interested in improving mental function and who would like to continue their search for the appropriate supplement should look into products that contain the above mentioned Alpha GC, as this ingredient has been proven to produce safe and effective results.
