We are fans of the ingredient Phosphatidylserine, which is derived from soy. There have been many clinical studies conducted on this ingredient, and it has been shown to enhance the communication between brain cells and neurotransmitters, to improve recall and general mental acuity and to benefit overall cognitive function. However, we were surprised to find that this product contains only 20mg of this high quality ingredient. We do not feel that this is an adequate amount of Phosphatidylserine to properly deliver all of its benefits to users of this product, and we suggest that those consumers who were interested in this Memory Support Complex because it contains Phosphatidylserine also look into other options.
The two ingredients EPA and DHA are actually Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids. These two fatty acids, in particular, are incredibly popular and are contained within a high number of products on the market due to their associated health benefits. Most often, EPA and DHA are included in supplements said to benefit the health of the heart and overall cardiovascular system, but since these Omega 3’s are also said to provide the brain with needed nutrients, they are also often found in brain supplements as well.

At the time of this review, there is no exclusive Memory Support Complex product website, but this supplement is featured on the Nature Star company site. Currently, this site lists all contained ingredients in this product and the company even cites some current research on ingredients contained within this product. However, we did notice that there are no testimonials for this supplement posted on the site. We do feel that consumer feedback is incredibly important when it comes to determining how a supplement may work in a real life setting and for real people, so we are surprised when a company does not take the opportunity to share its product’s success. We have to wonder if the lack of testimonials is because Nature Star has yet to receive many success stories from consumers who have taken this product.
